Fresh color palette. Bold, bright, and a little bi Fresh color palette. Bold, bright, and a little bit sassy - because the golden hour can make you feel that full of life! Sometimes the light on the land here is soul-moving, washing over you with a sense of the divine. Other times it simply smacks of joy. So, in between larger works in progress, I’m expanding my mini Golden Hour series with joyful color play (like those shown in my mock-up here), working in the same size (10”x10”), same style and same theme of Sedona rocks and landmarks. Probably my personal favorite of various medium de Probably my personal favorite of various medium demos I made for last month’s Creativity class at the Sedona Arts Center. Pastels are messy, and a bit dusty - but a lot of fun. It’s like drawing and painting at the same time (clearly two of my favorite things 🤓). My last major pastel pieces promoted the USGA Sr. Open some years back, which was very cool, but then other projects came along and those bright little sticks got left back in their box, in favor of my oils and acrylics.
