There are literally thousands upon thousands of typefaces, but there are certain classics that will carry with integrity through entire design careers. Although it was somewhat hard to choose. these are the 10 timeless fonts I personally couldn’t do without:

Sometimes - some might argue always - and perhaps Sometimes - some might argue always - and perhaps more than we realize - artist’s creations are essentially self-portraits. Markers in time; the self-expression of an unvoiced, unknown subconscious realm. And it’s often only in retrospect that we see what it was about - or someone else sees it for us - which I find really interesting. This is definitely one of the those pieces for me. It wasn’t til long after its completion that “ohhhhhh, THAT’S why!” became more clear. (Maybe one day I’ll explain it, but for now I’ll leave it for your own interpretation.) Ultimately, a piece of art is both a window and a mirror to the soul, for both the maker and the observer.
